Daniel Donoghue

Born in New York City in 1957 and raised in northern New Jersey, Daniel has led a life as varied as the stories he writes. After a colorful youth, he served four years in the US Navy, with the last year being on a merchant marine vessel, later working with NASA and the Foreign Service. He also spent two years as a stay-at-home father, during which he began writing fiction, screenplays and plays.

 

He is the author of more than 30 short stories, a novel Gold in the Furnace, a screenplay adaption of the novel and a play Truth be Told. He now makes his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he continues to live and write.
